Branding is, at its core, a refining process.
You take all of your late night brainstorming, idealized concepts, deep passions, visual cues, and analyze them.
Then you edit them, edit them, edit them, and edit them. (Just ask my talented designer)
It’s a conjuring of sorts for me as it sets my visual goals not just for a season’s collection but for an entire identity.
It’s also a cleansing, it has allowed me to excuse myself of any visual burdens that I have muddied myself with.
